Municipality services guide for newcomers

1. 1The seniūnija (eldership office) is the local administrative unit handling address registration, declarations of residence, and some social assistance.▼
2. 2Find your nearest seniūnija by searching the official city municipality website with your street address. Each neighbourhood has its own office.▼
3. 3Bring a valid identity document, rental or ownership proof, and any relevant permit letters. Bring originals and photocopies.▼
4. 4Declare your residence address (deklaruota gyvenamoji vieta) here within your legally required window after arrival or permit approval.▼
5. 5Healthcare, tax, and social benefit matters typically require separate offices or official online portals: the seniūnija handles address and civic registration only.▼
